ESG Strategy Definition

Global Insurer

Alpha was engaged to support the definition of an ESG strategy that articulates the client’s position on ESG, collaborating with a project group (including a number of C-Suite members) through a series of focus group sessions, to understand what success looks and feels like, and to align decision makers on aspirations, priorities and commitments.

To inform the strategy, Alpha developed an ESG Trend Book setting out external trends driving ESG discussion and initiatives in the market, to inform stakeholders on the evolution of ESG discourse and regulatory requirements, as well as the competitive landscape.

Using an Alpha framework to align stakeholders on how the business should execute its ESG strategy, Alpha collaborated with the project team to define an internal governance model to drive and monitor their ESG agenda.

Alpha developed an external report that clearly articulates the client’s position on ESG, highlights their ESG priorities, and outlines progress and commitments within the newly defined strategic ESG framework. This structures and communicates their thinking and is future proofed to adapt to the ever-evolving topics of ESG and operating responsibly, as well as being authentic to their culture and brand values.
