Alpha was engaged by a global advisor to support its definition of their future strategy and ‘North Star’ vision for their wealth advice business, across D2C, hybrid, full and episodic advice propositions.

Alpha analysed current market trends and competitor positioning to understand key challenges for the client, and where the client could utilise their key differentiators to ‘win’ in the market.

Alpha worked collaboratively with the client to define their future high-level proposition and positioning to their customers and advisers, making special consideration for positioning with independent advice networks. Alpha also highlighted key considerations and gaps across; brand, technology, operating model, and distribution.

As part of this work, Alpha also completed a benchmarking exercise for client costs (on managed D2C, episodic and full advice propositions), and an adviser network pricing comparison on both their restricted and independent networks.
